"In the early stages of NMEDA when developing the (modifiers) standards, Ford stepped in with product technical support for the modifiers. The Ford Mobility Motoring Program…shows that Ford, the dealers, modifiers and therapists are all working as a team to help people regain their independence. Another advantage to the program is that when a customer calls the 800 number they get an information packet from Ford and it's specific to their state and it lists the modifiers. But another important factor is that it identifies the NMEDA members."
